"I decided to run for a seat on the City Council at Large so that I could contribute a new viewpoint, a variety of different points of view, and help establish a city council that is more inclusive and more reflective of our wonderful city. As a member of the City Council, I have made it a priority to serve our city and its citizens, as well as to improve the efficiency of our municipal government. My experience on the City Council has taught me that nothing comes easily, but that with effort, devotion, and group effort, all things are possible. I have gained this perspective as a result of my public service."
